Animated Christmas Clocks surpassed the design and development limitations typically attached to Android widgets. The app included a simple-to-use design carousel where the user could immediately visualize how the widget would appear against their background. In addition to this, the app included a streamlined system of unlocking new designs through the simple act of watching a video ad. Most importantly, the widgets consisted of several animated layers, bringing motion to home screen – regardless of the launcher running on the user’s device.
