Bistro: Interactive Menu

With Bistro, customers can order meals in the restaurant simply by scanning a QR code, which instantly opens a digital menu in their mobile browser—no downloads required.

About the project

During Covid, a need arose to introduce a more hygienic and efficient way to process restaurant orders at a flagship restaurant in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The solution features an intuitive interface, allowing users to browse through various meal categories such as appetizers, main courses, desserts, and beverages. Each item is accompanied by a detailed description, price, and optional add-ons. Customers can customize their orders by selecting quantities or preferences before adding items to their cart. Once the order is finalized, it is automatically synced with the restaurant’s internal system and forwarded directly to the kitchen, ensuring quick and accurate preparation. This efficient system eliminates the need for physical menus and reduces wait times, enhancing the overall dining experience.
