In this product design project, an iPad app was imagined as a novel way of sending multimedia “gifts” to friends and family.
By combining various visual pre-loaded visual and audio material, user-generated content and popular songs, the user could create unique audio-visual presentations. Given the number of options, it was required to imagine a simple-to-use step sequencer, which would let the user change the individual elements of their presentation with ease before building the “gift”. The project also included the design of a browser-based video player, to be used by those who don’t have the app installed.
